Our Registration / Helpdesk is open Friday evening from 18:30-20:30 in Lynhams Hotel in Laragh and on Saturday morning from 6:30-7:45 am next to the Glendalough Visitor Centre.
What you can do at HelpDesk
The Registration/ Helpdesk can help you with the following:
- Pick-up your bib (if not sent to you – i.e. if you did not have an Irish address or if you stated you preferred pickup during registration)
- Replace a lost bib / bib that didn’t arrive in the post
- Change your distance
- Process a name change on a bib
- Drop a bag for the finish line (see below) or a car key
- Process a ‘last minute entry’ ticket (if we have capacity) at €80 (marathon) and €65 (half-marathon). Please bring even money as we will not have cash at the HelpDesk or Revolut @reney4rfa)
- Collect your finisher’s tshirt (Friday evening ONLY)
- Provide you information on the start lines
FRIDAY EVENING HELPDESK (18:00-20:00)
We will be located in the lounge at Lynhams Hotel for 2 hours Friday evening before the race. You can park in the hotel car park if needed.
This is a great option if you want more time in the morning and/or you are staying over the night before.
SATURDAY MORNING HELPDESK (6:30-7:45)
This will be located at the round-about next to the Glendalough Visitor Centre.
Please ensure you are finished with any errand / change here at least 15 minutes before your race start to ensure you are there on time and do not need to use the ‘emergency late start’ .
GLENDALOUGH HOTEL – PLEASE NOTE!
Hotel guests will still be asleep at this hour so please observe the following as you pass by the hotel:
- Only move past the hotel front (do not go behind the hotel)
- Keep conversation quiet and to a minimum
- Do not enter the hotel or use their toilet facilities
- Do not encourage friends to spectate here (it is a no spectator zone)
- Do not park in front of the hotel
Failure to observe any of these rules could lead to issues starting the race here in the future.
🎒 Bag Drop / key dorp Options
🅿️ Option 1: At the Official Race Car Park (Laragh GFC)
If you’re parking at Laragh GFC and don’t need to bring your bag on the shuttle, you can leave it at our bag trailer, located just as you exit the car park.
This is the recommended option if you’re taking the bus, as it reduces congestion at the HelpDesk.
🛎️ Option 2: At the HelpDesk (Glendalough Visitor Centre)
Bag drop will also be available at the HelpDesk. You’ll find pens and stickers there—simply:
- Write your bib number on the sticker
- Attach it securely to your bag
- Leave it with our team for transport to the finish line
- Elite runners: Mark your bottles with stickers (name and water station / distance you want it placed at). This must be done before 7 am.
🔑 Key Drop
A transparent key box will also be available at the HelpDesk. Follow the same process: label your keys with your bib number and drop them in.
🔒 Important Notes
- While we provide this service for your convenience, bags and keys are left at your own risk
- There is no security monitoring at either location
- We recommend leaving valuables in your car at Laragh GFC wherever possible
