Getting to the start lines
Getting to the start line — quick race day travel survey. Let us know how you plan to get to the start line so we can run shuttle buses efficiently and ensure everyone gets there on time.
The form asks for your name and email, which race you’re registered for — Marathon (7:30 am start) or Half Marathon (8:00 am start) — and how you plan to reach the start area on race morning:
- Park at the official car park and take the shuttle bus to the drop-off zone.
- Park and walk to the registration/start area (2.7 km + 800–1200 m).
- Be dropped off at the Glendalough Visitor Centre.
- Stay nearby and walk from your accommodation.
- Booked a seat on the Dublin bus.
- Not sure yet / still deciding.
It also asks what time you hope to arrive at the official car park, in fifteen-minute windows from 6:00 am to 7:15 am (the 7:00–7:15 am slot is for half-marathoners only), or “not sure yet.”
Completing the form helps us organise shuttle capacity, monitor arrival patterns, and ensure a stress-free start.
This travel survey ran for the 2025 race and is now closed. It is kept here for reference; the 2027 race-morning travel details will be published closer to race day.
