Everything happens at Upper Lake Park

One Race HQ for 2027. Registration, helpdesk, toilets, bag drop and key box in the same place, with both start lines a short walk away. Private vehicles cannot drive to the Upper Lake.

Both drop you at Race HQ. No private vehicles on the Upper Lake road.

Walk to your start

Half marathon about 200m. Marathon about 500m. Both signed from HQ.

Run the gap

Aid stations at set intervals, and semi-self-sufficiency on the high ground.

Finish in Laragh

Food, bag and key collection, and the return bus to Dublin.

Direct bus from Dublin

A coach from the city straight to Race HQ, around seventy minutes. No parking, no shuttle, no walking with a bag. Book it with your entry — seats are limited and they go first.

Park at Laragh GFC, free shuttle

Five minutes to HQ, running in two convoys — marathon first, then half. Free of charge. Parking is stewarded. Follow marshal directions and signage.

Walk from Laragh

3.5km on foot if you would rather warm up than queue. Allow forty minutes.

Approved drop-off

Near the Glendalough Hotel, then 1.2km on foot. Do not drive the Upper Lake road by car.

After the race

Everyone finishes in Laragh, which is where the food, the results screen and most of the noise are. Bags and keys come down from HQ to the finish. Return coaches to Dublin leave from the village once the field is in.

If you parked at Laragh GFC you can walk to your car from the finish. If you took the shuttle up, you do not need it coming back.
