The Sub-2:30 Project

A €1,000 bonus for the first runner, man or woman, to break two hours thirty on the marathon course. A chip time of 2:29:59 or faster does it, verified against your own GPX file afterwards. If more than one runner gets there on the day, the pot is split between the three fastest.

We cannot offer a discounted entry, but write to us anyway. If your current form makes you a likely podium finisher we may still clear you for elite support this year.

Previous winners

Winners are offered a free place to defend the title, and can be given an elite entry at the race director’s discretion even without the standard above.

Applying for elite entry

Runners with a recent marathon or mountain-running record who would like elite consideration should write to the race director before the closing date. We hold a small number of places back each year. Send one email with the four things below.
